Mrs. Sophie Boland
Funeral services for Mrs. Sophie Boland, aged 66, who died yesterday noon at her home in Vulcan, will be held at 2 o'clock Monday from the residence. The Rev. Karl Hammar, pastor of the Swedish Methodist Episcopal church in Escanaba and formerly of Norway will officiate. Burial will be in the Norway township cemetery.
Mrs. Boland was born March 15, 1870, in Jeppo Finland, and had been a resident of this community for 27 years.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jennie Turnquist, of Milwaukee, Mrs. Bertha Sebrechts, of Chicago, and Miss Ruth Boland, at home, and six sons, Walter and Edward, of Madison, Wis., William of Milwaukee, and Emil, Arvid and Albin, at home.
The Linnea lodge, of which she was a member, will attend the services.

Mrs. Sophie Bolan
Funeral services for Mrs. Sophie Bolan, who died Friday at her home in Vulcan, were held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon with burial in the Norway cemetery. The Rev. Karl Hammar, of Escanaba, was in charge.
The pallbearers were six sons of Mrs. Bolan, Walter, Edward, William, Emil, Arvid and Albin.
The Linnea lodge, of which she was a member, attended the service. Present from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bolan and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bolan and family, of Madison, Wis.; Mrs. Bertha Seebrechts, of Chicago, and Mrs. Jennie Turnquist and William Bolan, of Milwaukee, all of whom have returned to their homes.
