Mrs. Frances Mae Taylor Battiste, 68, Theodore, Ala., died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1986, at Singing River Hospital. Mrs. Battiste was a native of Moss Point and was a member of First Baptist Church of St Elmo, Ala.

Survivors are her husband, Marion T. Battiste, Theodore; a daughter, Mrs. Marion-Frances Dodge, St Elmo; five sons, Raymond D. Battiste, Mobile, Gary T. Battiste, Eight Mile, Mike W. Battiste, Satsuma, Ala., Robert E. Battiste, Mandersville, LA., James Ross Battiste, Theodore; four sisters, Mrs. Violet Moffat, Mrs. Olga Colle, and Mrs. Virgie Davis, all of Pascagoula, and Mrs. Beverly McLeod, Escatawpa; a brother, James Taylor, Wade; 22 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and other relatives.

Visitation will be tonight, Sept. 12, at Serenity Funeral Home, 8663 Old Pascagoula Road, Mobile, from 6 - 9 pm.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Sept 13, at First Baptist Church of St Elmo at 1:00 p m. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to service time.
Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens, Mobile.
Arrangements by Serenity Funeral Home, 8663 Old Pascagoula Road, Mobile.
