Ralph Bayard Baldridge, Pittsburgh industrialist, died yesterday at his home in Wallace Rd., Allison Park, after an illness of more than a month. He was 58.

Mr. Baldridge was general counsel and secretary of the Rust Engineering Co. and affiliated firms. He had been with the Rust enterprises 20 years.

He was a veteran of World War I and was graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Law School, class of 1917. He was a director, secretary and general counsel for the Rust Furnace Co., Allegheny Industrial Electric Co., Bolivar City Products Co., Woodbridge Clay Products Co. and the Woodbridge Sales Co.

Mr. Baldridge also was prominent in East Liberty real estate circles and was active in the development of the Aldercourt Apts. on Alder St., one of the first co-operative apartments to be built here.

He is survived by his widow, Flora S. Baldridge, two sisters, Mrs. Charles T. Marsh and Mrs. Edward Flaccus, both of Pittsburgh and a brother T. Bayard Baldridge.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday from his home. Burial will be in Allegheny cemetery.
