Gracie, my grandmother .. my mother's mother, was second born of ten children of Allen James Osborn and Martha Catherine Mathena.
Gracie married John Otto "Quinn" Johnson on March 1, 1911 in Lawrence, Douglas Co., Kansas. They were married 56 years at the time of John's death in 1967.
Gracie and John had four children between them (all girls). First born was Martha Grace Johnson born in 1916, second born was Leona Pauline Johnson born in 1919, third born was Iva Ruth Johnson (my mother) born in 1921, and fourth born was Alma Jean Johnson born in 1924.
