MRS. H.J. GRANT, 75, SUCCUMBS; HERE 60 YEARS
Mrs. Henrietta Jane Grant, 75, a resident of Santa Cruz for more than 60 years, passed away at her Grant street home yesterday. She was a native of Iowa and crossed the plains when she was 12 years of age.
Her husband, John Grant, served as head of the Santa Cruz street department. He preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. Grant was one of the oldest members of the local First Methodist church and was prominent in its various activities.
The following survive: Mrs. Lottie Izant, E. May Grant, Mrs. Sophie Enos, Mrs. Rose Inman, daughters, and son Edgar Grant.
The remains are at the Wessendorf mortuary.
