He was a graduate of Needham High School and Norwich University. Mr. Anthony was in the employ of Goodyear Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio, and worked in Calcutta, India for a few years. Mr. Anthony married Violet (Viola) Margaret Renkel on 31 December 1931, the daughter of Joseph H. Renkel 1882-1957 and Isabelle D. Snyder 1883-1955. Mr. Anthony passed away on 16 February 1975. His wife Viola passed away on 14 June 1996. Daughter Roberta Marie, born 22 January 1936 in Newton, Massachusetts. Son-in-law Matthew Hermans, grandchildren Charles Matthew Hermans and Phillip Anthony Hermans.
