Mr. Samuel McCrackin, age 75, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis, Ind. Mr. McCrackin was a self employed sub-contractor and was a member of the Eastern Star Church. He is survived by his wife, Celestine McCrackin of the home; three daughters, Norma Delores Hightower, Vernette Celestine Lewis and Yvette Ursery; a son, Darrell McCrackin; three sisters, Cora Freeman, Rebecca Lewis and Bertha McCrackin; three brothers, Clay McCrackin, Homer McCrackin and Vernon James McCrackin; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. McCrackin will be held Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at 10:45 a.m., at the Eastern Star Church in Indianapolis. Funeral services will follow, Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at 11 a.m., at the Eastern Star Church with burial in Washington Park North Cemetery in Indianapolis, Ind. under the direction of Marvin Funeral Service.
