Graveside services for John William Hill, 61, were officiated by Rev. T.D. Ellis, the pastor of Eliasville Methodist church.

Mr. Hill was a prominent stock raiser and oil man. He was a member of a pioneer Young County family. Mr. Hill spent all of his life in Young County, since 1919, he has lived in Eliasville.

Survived by three brothers - S.R. Hill, C.T. Hill, Roy Hill; four sisters - Mrs. Ollie Smith, Mrs. Laura Smith, Mrs. Mollie Smith, Mrs. B.L. Kirtley.
