"DIED
On Thursday morning, 28th instant, at his residence in Courtland street, Francis D. McHenry, in the 79th year of his age. He was for many years a merchant in this city-a man who, in every walk of life, demonstrated the truth of the Christian religion, and in the full confidence of its divine realities, left the world in peace. The deceased was one of those who, in the hour of peril, threw himself between his adopted city and an invading foe, and with the noble band who met the British army at North Point, voluntarily periled his life in his country's cause.
His friends, and those of the family, are invited to attend his funeral, from his late residence, No. 44 Courtland street, this (Friday) afternoon, at 3 o'clock, without further notice."
