Moved to Clarendon, Texas around 1919. Worked at Phillips Petroleum, Texaco,International Harvester Co., and a Postal Clerk for nearly 40 years. Member of the Masonic Lodge and Clarendon United Methodist Church. Married to Verdie for 50 years. They had five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is buried in the Citizen's Cemetery next to his brother Dee and sister Mildred, both who died in infancy.
