Illness Fatal For Mrs. Messerschmitt

Mrs. Katharine W. Messerschmitt of 25 Palmer Lane died yesterday after a short illness.

Mrs. Messerschmitt was the daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine Kaiser and the wife of Christopher F. Messerschmitt, public relations director of the State Department of Institutions and Agencies.

A son, Ensign Richard Messerschmitt, USN, is stationed at Whiting Field, Milton, Florida, where he recently qualified as a flyer.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Ivins & Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. R.F. Krauch of Advent Lutheran Church will officiate. Friends may call tomorrow evening.

In addition to her husband and son, other survivors are: Mrs. William F. Petry, a sister, and Frederick W. Kaiser, a brother, both of Trenton: Mrs. Elizabeth George of Hightstown, a step-sister, and two step-brothers, Philip Unkelback of Trenton and Conrad Kaiser of Dobbs Ferry, New York.
