Thomas L. Ypya, age 42, of Versailles, passed away Wednesday morning, August 31, 2005 west of Versailles from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born October 25, 1962 in Versailles, the son of Richard and Linda Sue Drury Ypya. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ypya and two daughters, Tabitha Ypya and Harlie Rodriguez, of the home. Additional survivors include two daughters, Samantha Ypya and Amanda Ypya, of Illinois; two sisters, Terri E. Bergman of Kansas City, and Tammy Sue Ypya of Collinsville, Illinois, his step grandmother, Ruth Drury of Versailles, many other relatives and friends. Tommy?s love of children reached many. Kids liked participating in outdoor activities with him. He enjoyed the comradery of trail rides with family and friends. Tommy grew up on his grandparents farm south of Versailles, and as a child he grew to love the outdoors. Much of his young adulthood was spent coon hunting with his friends. He could frequently be seen with his two daughters teaching them to ride horses, hunt, fish and share in his appreciation of the outdoors. He was probably one of the best rock layers in Central Missouri and the beauty will live on for years in the work he created. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his wife, girls, and many friends in the community. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, at Calvary Baptist Church near Versailles, with Rev. William Johnson officiating. Thomas L. Ypya, 1962-2005, Versailles

Thomas L. Ypya, 42, of Versailles, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, west of Versailles, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Mr. Ypya was a rock layer. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ypya, of the home; three daughters, Tabitha Ypya, of the home, and Samantha Ypya and Amanda Ypya, both of Illinois; a stepdaughter, Harlie Rodriguez, of the home; two sisters, Terri E. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, near Versailles, with the Rev. William Johnson officiating. Friends may sign the guest register online at www.kidwellgarber.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.
