CROWNPOINT — Services for Raymond Anderson, 82, will be at 10 a.m., April 13, 2010, at the First Navajo Baptist Church. The Rev. Jimmy Etcitty will officiate. Burial will follow on family land.
Anderson was born Sept. 11, 1927, in Mariano Lake, N.M., into the Towering House People Clan for the Black Streak Wood People Clan.
Survivors include his wife Lillie Anderson; son Lindy Anderson; daughters Emma Anderson, Veida Anderson, Lucille Saunders; brothers Tex Anderson, Emerson Degroat; 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mary Anderson; brothers Ralph Anderson, Charles Anderson; sisters Anna Julian, Norma Etcitty, Mary Peshlakai.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Saunders Jr., Sheridan Saunders, Shane Saunders, Lambert Poyer, Dryan Anerson, Ornile Anderson.
The family will receive relatives and freinds at the Crownpoint Chapter House after services.
