NEW CASTLE, Ind.--Roy Ashby, 70, died at his home in Shirley Sunday following an illness of several weeks.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl; a daughter, Mrs. Basil Goudy, R.R. 1, Shirley; a son, Albert, New Castle; two sisters, Mrs. Eva McDole, Lapel, and Mrs. Esther Carpenter, Anderson; two brothers, Lewis, Alexandria, and Ben, Markleville, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Condo Funeral Home in Wilkinson with the Rev. Verl Libby of the Shirley Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
