Alberta Hope Peach was born to Rev. Frank & Willa Peach. She was nick-named Hopie. Hope graduated from Mt. Carmel HIgh School in 1956 & moved to Los Angeles, CA for a short time. Hopie was known for her special yeast rolls and German Chocalate cakes. She was always faithful in the work of the Lord.
She was employed by Chevron Oil Company shortly after moving to Houston, TX in 1971, where she remained for the next twenty five years. Hope married the love of her life, Ruben Deluna on November 22, 1972.
Hope is survived by her husband: Ruben DeLuna, brothers and their wives: Rev. John & Beverly Peach of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, David & Barbara Peach of Magnolia, TX, and Tom & Karen Peach of Spring, TX., Rev. James Robert & Leona of Effingham, Illinois.
Sisters & their husbands: Willa Mae {Peach} & Paul Davis of Eddyville, KY, Darlene Williams of Spring, TX, Mary {Peach} & Will Cooley of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Nancy {Peach} Lawson & Don Lawson of Spring, TX, and Rachel {Peach} & Greg Martin of Huffman, TX.
Sister-in-law: Petre Brionez of Bellingham, Washington, brother-in-law & wife: Vincent & Lucy DeLuna, Jesse & Esther DeLuna, sister-in-law: Audelia DeLuna all of Bakersfield, CA., sister-in-law: Estella {Gilbert} Trevino of Houston, TX.
