Mrs Jesse Rupert New Waterford Mrs Mabel Bierman Mabel Catherine Rupert, 77 of RD 1 died Saturday at 4 pm. at Salem City Hospital where she had been a patient five days. Born March 27, 1892 in Fairfield Township, she was a daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Summers Bierman. She lived all of her life in the New Waterford area. She and her husband operated the Maple Ridge farm market on Rt 7 for 25 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Columbiana. She married Jesse S Rupert Aug 30, 1910. He died in 1957. Survivors are a daughter Mrs. Virginia Cook of Montebello Calif; three sons, Victor of Cleveland, Vernon J of Columbiana and Willard of Cairo W Va. a sister, Mrs Malcom Bricker of Columbiana; 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A son, Walter, died in 1968 and a daughter Dorothy died in 1932. Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Seederly Beilhard Funeral Home in Columbiana with the Rev. Robert Weiman officiating Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery mausoleum. Calling hours are this evening at the funeral home. end
