Grace BAYLESS (nee Gaither), of Affton, Missouri, formerly of Cedar Hill, Missouri, was born April 22, 1928, in Leachville, Arkansas, to Paul C. and Clara E. nee Blackenter) Gaither, and entered into rest, Monday, March 13, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Kirkwood, Missouri, at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 21 days.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Max Bayless, one (1) child, Ocie Godbold, and two (2) siblings, Lynn Gaither and Evelyn Brown.

She is survived by one (1) daughter, JoAnn Wooten, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, four (4) grandchildren, Terry Wooten, of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jerry Wooten, of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jennifer Popovich, of Concorde, California, Cory Godbold, of Bangler, Wisconsin, four (4) great-grandchildren, Anna, Garrett, Duncan, and Hazel, three (3) siblings, Martha Steadman, of House Springs, Missouri, Alvin Gaither, of Fenton, Missouri, and Leonard Gaither, of Pacific, Missouri, and many other relatives and friends.

Grace had many hobbies, however her most precious moments were those with spent with her grandchildren. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation Tuesday, March 14, 2006 from 3–9 p.m., at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Service March 15, 2006, 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Cedar Hill, MO. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11323, Fairfax, Virginia 22038, or the American Heart Association, P.O.
