Neal Bear, 89, Centerville, died Thursday at her home.
She was born March 14, 1898 in Appanoose County to Leslie F. and Jean Ross Cathcart. She married Frank Bear in 1923.
She was employed as a salesperson for Jensens, Valentines and the Fashion Shop.
Preceding her in death were her husband, three brothers, John, Leslie and David Cathcart, and a sister, Mary.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Bear; a sister, Emma Teater, Des Moines; and two brothers, James Cathcart, Centerville, and William Cathcart, Cheyenne, Wyo.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson-Lange Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Hidden officiating. Burial will be at Jerome Cemetery.
