Annie was born in England, the oldest of 8 children. While young, she resided in several towns in both Nova Scotia and Cumberland county, Maine, before her family settled in Lawrence, MA about 1892.
She married Patrick John Timmons on April 6, 1893 in Lawrence. Patrick was born and raised in Margarete, Inverness county, Nova Scotia, and had only recently come to Lawrence when they were married. They then relocated to Cumberland county, Maine for a few years, where Patrick had family, before returning to Lawrence. Annie and Patrick had 15 children.
After Annie's death, Patrick moved to Dracut MA with the younger children for a time. Then on Sept. 26, 1925 he married Effie Sophia Gale in Exeter NH. By 1930, they were living in Dover NH. Patrick died in Concord NH in 1958. Effie died in 1983. They are both buried in Dover NH at Pine Hill Cemetery.

1. Lillian "Lillie" May: Born March 12, 1894 in Westbrook, ME, died in 1959 and is buried in Ridgewood Cemetery, No. Andover, MA (#122485099). She married Sept. 23, 1914 in Methuen to Albert Victor Smith, s/o Albert Edwin Smith & Kate Spalding. He was born in England June 9, 1891 and died June 1973 in Andover. He is buried in Ridgewood Cemetery also.
2. Frank John: Born May 4, 1895, he married Sept. 30, 1916 in Methuen to Ethel Mary Barrett, d/o Benjamin Barrett & Ada Waterhouse.
3. Margaret Geneva: Born May 4, 1896 in Lawrence MA, died in Oct. 1963 in MA.
4. Josephine R.: Born 1896 in Lawrence & married June 1, 1926 in Portsmouth NH to William Wallace. He was born Jan. 16, 1892 in Lawrence to Mark Wallace & Elizabeth McFarland.
5. Laura: Born Jan. 3, 1899 in Lawrence.
6. Charles Melvin: Born Jan. 3, 1899 in Lawrence, died July 6,1968 in Lawrence. He married in 1925 in Lawrence to Grace V. Reming, d/o John Reming & Mary Lee. She was born Aug. 6,1899 in Lawrence & died Feb. 1984 in MA.
7. Emily: Born 1902 in Lawrence & died in Beverly & was buried March 12, 1944 in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Dancers, MA (#130139365). She married William A. Yonge in 1905. He was buried Jan. 9, 1949 beside her.
Mary Ellen: Born Oct. 21, 1903 in Methuen. She married in 1925 in Lawrence.
9. Edith: Born April 4, 1905 in Methuen & died June 22, 1999 in No. Andover. Edith married Herbert Victor Schwarzenberg, s/o Carl H. Schwarzenberg & Martha A. Kaufman. He was born July 4, 1900 in Lawrence.
10. Annie: Born Nov. 7, 1906 in Methuen.
11. Gordon Francis: Born Aug. 12, 1908 in Methuen & died in MA in April 1959. He married 2nd on June 23, 1942 in Exeter NH to Ruth Elizabeth Goff, d/o James Henry Goff & Elizabeth Fairbanks Hayes. Ruth was born July 13, 1911 in No. Andover & died there on March 30, 1998. They are buried together in Ridgewood Cemetery in that town (#122484866).
12. William Gustin: Born Aug. 3, 1910 in Methuen.
13. Robert Irving: Born June 8, 1911 in Methuen & died Nov. 5, 1911 in Methuen. He is buried beside his mother.
14. Madeline: Born Jan. 17, 1913 in Methuen & died Sept. 15, 1996. She married Sept. 5, 1931 in Dover, NH to Robert L. Prescott, s/o Frank R. Prescott & Amelia F. Smith. He was born Nov. 9, 1911 in Lawrence & died Feb. 28, 2004 in Atkinson, NH.
15. Joseph S.: Born May 4, 1914 in Methuen & died March 23, 1977 in Bridgeport CT. His wife's name was Gladys.
