Margaret was better know as Betsy. She was the daughter of George VanHorn and Margaret Elizabeth Born Stevenson. She was born in New Jersey on January 28, 1942. After graduating from Clayton High School, she joined the U. S. Air Force where she reached the rank of Airman Third Class. This rank was reclassified in 1967 and is now know as Airman. In 1961, Betsy married John Bruce Bell in Charleston, South Carolina. John, the son of Mr. and Olive Weingard Bell, was born in Rochester, New York on April 22, 1940. John and Betsy had 3 children; Joseph Bell, Nancy A. Bell and Jennifer Bell.

Betsy died on July 18, 1993, at the early age of 51. Betsy had a good sense of humor and was enjoyable to be around. I wish she had not left us so early. She is buried in the Cedar Green Cemetery in Clayton, New Jersey. John died on August 30, 2009, in Blackwood, New Jersey.
