James Fox,known as ("Creek Jim") was a full blood Creek Indian Medicine Man living amoung the Cherokees.He was a Indian Scout for Calvery and later served as a Union Soldier. He was buried with a Military Civil War Marker that read CREEK JIM Co.E 2 INDIAN HOMEGUARD Died Jan.13 1888 He is buried in the Anderson Family Cemetery near Ft.Gibson OK.
