20 DEC 2020, Added gender. Source is "Our People And Where They Rest," American Indian Institute, Vol. 7, page 85, 1972. The marker was reported to be in a pile under a tree in the Southwest corner of the cemetery, along with other markers not in their original position. It is quite possible that the cemetery is currently abandoned or destroyed, but it was clearly recorded as being in ROGERS County, in Section 21, Range 16E, Township 22N. The canvass and survey was around 1970.
24 JUL 2023 SAC changing location of cemetery to a different county, but further research is indicated. Doubtful it is correct. The source gave the Alberty Family Cemetery in Rogers County. I have also been to the Alberty Cemetery at Westville, and I don't find this burial in my field notes taken in 2013.~
