Funeral for Bailey Held at Penton, 5th

Franklin Winchester "Ches" Bailey, aged 57, passed away Saturday, 4 Apr 1936 following an illness of approximately two weeks. Mr. Bailey was born and reared in Chambers County.

Funeral service was held from the Penton Church of God on 5 Apr 1936 with Rev Howard Vines officiating. Interment was in the Penton Church of God Cemetery. J. E. Cutler, local funeral director, was in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are his wife (Lilla Anne Sanders Bailey), four sons, John, Flynn, Dewey and Dalton Bailey, LaFayette Route 3; one daughter, Mrs. McKinley (Annie Mae Bailey) Sherman, Penton; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Columbus Franklin) Bailey, LaFayette Route 3 and four brothers, Jim, John and Al, LaFayette Route 3 and Walt Bailey, Birmingham.
