BEDFAST 3 YEARS SUFFERING ENDED
John Buchina Died At Home Sunday Afternoon--Funeral Wednesday.

Death came as an angel of mercy Sunday afternoon at 4:30 to relieve John Buchina of his suffering.
For three years the decedent has been bedfast, suffering from complication of diseases that has baffled medical science. For the past 26 years he has made his home in Streator, he having come to the United States 30 years ago.

The decedent was born in Austria-Hungary, 58 years ago. In that country, 35 years ago, he met and married Miss Mary Matchko, and seven children blessed the union, four of whom survive.

Thirty years ago he came to the United Stats and located in Texas, where he resided for four years. He then came to Streator and has since made this city his home.
Mr. Buchina was a coal miner by occupation before his illness. Besides his wife he is survived by the following children: John, of Streator; Joseph, now in the service in France; Mary and Michael, of Streator.

The funeral will be held tomorrow morning with services at the home. Interment will be made in Riverview cemetery.
