She enlisted in the United States Women's Army Corps on January 27, 1943 as an Aviation Cadet.

She was the daughter of George H. Robinson and Alberta Conklin Robinson.
In 1946, she married George R. Adjemian at Paris, France.
They were the parents of three children.

Friends and family of Georgia Viola Adjemian (nee Robinson), of St. John, Indiana, formerly of Spokane, Washington, will gather Saturday at noon for a 1PM memorial service at St. Matthew Center for Health, 1601 North Western Ave., Park Ridge, Illinois. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. She was born January 27, 1922, in Muskogee, Oklahoma and raised in Dallas, Texas. During her life she traveled internationally and resided in France, Hawaii and throughout the mainland United States. Her final days ended peacefully, April 1, 2010, at St. Matthew Center for Health in Park Ridge.
Georgia was a loving mom, homemaker and a wonderful chef. She devoted her time to working with mentally disabled children and the Red Cross. A World War II veteran, United States Army, while serving in France she met her husband, the late Colonel George R. Adjemian, retired United States Army USMA (1941), Ph.D., former Gonzaga University professor and attorney, former resident of Claremont, California and Spokane.
Georgia is the beloved mother of Robert Adjemian of Hollywood, California, Barbara Adjemian of Seattle Washington and Susan (Scott) Juister of St. John; grandmother of Kelly (Michael) Fitzgerald of Schaumburg and David Griffin of Des Plaines; great-grandmother of Alex and Tyler Fitzgerald and sister of Robert (Elizabeth) Robinson of Dallas and Dorothy (Merlin) Reed of San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Salvation Army.
