Lewis Allen of Morris Lane, Campbellsville, son of the late Lee Roy Allen and Julie Ann Brewer Allen was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, March 29, 1929. He died at 2:26 A.M., Tuesday, April 19, 2005, in Campbellsville. Age: 76 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for many years.He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He united in marriage to Lucille Martin June 26, 1954.Besides his wife, Lucille Martin Allen of Morris Lane, Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons: Raymond Allen of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Lee Allen and his wife, DeeDee of Campbellsville; two granddaughters and two grandsons: Julie Allen of Elkhorn, Jackie Allen of Clarksville, Indiana, Dustin Allen of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Blake Allen of Campbellsville; one great-granddaughter, Ayreal Allen of Elkhorn; two sisters: Mary Kathryn Garnett of Campbellsville and Myrtle Druin of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers: Opal Warren, Elsie Allen, Paul Edward Allen, Thomas Allen, William "Bill" Allen, and Roy Allen. FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 21st at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Randall Underwood and Rev. James Huff BURIAL:Mt.
