Cornelia was educated in Gaston County Public Schools in Gaston, N.C.
She attended Paradise AME Zion Church of Brodnax until her health declined.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Walker of Brodnax; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at Brown's Memorial Chapel with interment in the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery, Brodnax. Brown's Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements
