David Anderson Sweem, 73, World War I veteran, died at his home on West McGaughy street in Hamilton Sunday, June 10, about 6:00 o'clock that morning. He had not been well for some time. David and Della were married on Jan 14, 1921.

He is survived by his wife, Della, of the home; five sons, David Jr., RL and Jerry of Hamilton, Irvin of Independence and Clifton of Ellensburg, Wash.; two daughters, Doris Sweem Lamb , Moses Lake, Wash., and Marcelle Jean Sweem Lamb, Yakima, Washington,; one brother, Elder John A Sweem of Hamilton, Mo. The funeral service was held at the Bram Funeral Home Monday at 2:00. Interment was in Highland Cemetery with military rites by Boutwell-Clark-Craven-Eads Post of the American Legion.
