1st he married Lena Beck in Iowa and had 2 boys... Mike and Joseph Hiram, in 1873 and 1875. They evidently divorced because she died in 1941.
2nd he married Nancy L. Terrell in 1883 and had an unknown infant in 1883, Eliza in 1886 and Charles Hiram in 1889.
Don't know what happened to her.
He was the son of Margaret Hoover and Joseph B. Shollenbarger.
