Artie was born to Henry and Mary P. Wages Pierce in Medina, Mexico on April 30, 1910. She married to Glenn W. Cranor on October 16, 1937 in Grand Junction, Colorado.
They moved to Breckenridge in 1973 from Colorado.
Glenn died March 14, 1979.
She had one daughter, Mrs. Fred "Smokey" (Dorothy, "Dot") Simpson 11/01/1928 - 12/20/2002 of Snyder, Texas, and three grandsons, Jimmy 11/9/1946 - 11/26/2004, Joe and Jackie Simpson. And one Great Grandson.
Artie was a member of Bethany Baptist Church of Breckenridge.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and The Rebekah Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Her funeral was held at 2 PM on Thursday, May 27, 1993 in Melton Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment, Breckenridge, Texas beside Glenn.
