I Love you Mom

This was my Mom. She was the best mom anyone could have asked for. If I could show you home movies right here, you see how funny and loving she was. She had a blast and she was so funny.
She always had room for one more whether it be at the dinner table or a bed for someone to sleep in. I think if she had it to do again, I think she probably wouldnt have changed a thing, not even the dying young part.

Only child of John Burt and Kathryn Burt. Grand-daughter of John Ashworth and Mary Jane Ashworth. Married Wayne Mc Farland in June 29,1946. Her children Dana 1947, David 1953, Debra 1955, and Donna 1957. Employed by American Natl' Ins. from 1957 until her death. A native of Dallas, Texas; aged 52 years. She loved her family and enjoyed her friends. She liked to bowl and spend time cooking for her grandchildren. She never turned anyone down for dinner that came by the house to visit.
Cancer took her all too soon.

Her grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, and never met---- Brendan, Jason, Timothy, Lisa, and Mallory.
She has Nine great-grandchildren, whom she never met: Heather Michelle B-10-05-2005, and Alexander James B- 7-31-06, Morgan McKenzie B-3-8-07,Kaitlyn Rose B-3-29-08, Taylor Lynn B-02-18-09,Wyatt Colt B-07-08-2010 and Madison Grace B-04-20-2011, Brooke Lorraine B-07-09-2012, and Skylar Jayde 12-18-2013.

~~ I carry your Heart with me ~~

Wish Heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice again. I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part.... God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart!

"Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the Chain will link again."

I believe that to go on without our loved ones we have to believe that death is just the beginning of an adventure. Her adventure begins without me.... but I will see her on a snow flake in my eye lashes, I will feel her in the spring breezes, the summer sun, and the colors of a fall sky...I plan on having her with me always.

"Though her smile has gone forever
and her hand we cannot touch
We shall never lose sweet memories
of the one we loved so much"

Sissy's song -Alan Jackson

Why did she have to go
So young I just don't know why
Things happen half the time
Without reason without rhyme
Lovely, sweet young woman
Daughter, wife and mother
Makes no sense to me
I just have to believe

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me

Loved ones she left behind
Just trying to survive
And understand the why
Feeling so lost inside
Anger shot straight at God
Then asking for His love
Empty with disbelief
Just hoping that maybe

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me

It's hard to say goodbye
Her picture in my mind
Will always be of times I'll cherish
And I won't cry 'cause

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me

Going Home

Going home, going home, I am going home;
Quiet-like, some still day, I am going home.
It's not far, just close by,
Through an open door;
Work all done, cares laid by,
Going to fear no more.

Mother's there expecting me,
Father's waiting too;
Lots o' folk gathered there,
All the friends I knew,
All the friends I knew.
Home, I am going home!

Nothing lost, all is gain,
No more fret nor pain,
No more stumbling on the way,
No more longing for the day,
Going to roam no more!

Morning star lights the way,
Restless dreams all done;
Shadows gone, break o' day,
Real life's just begun.
There's no break, there's no end,
Just a living on;
Wide awake, with a smile
Going on and on.

Going home, going home, I am going home,
It's not far, just close by
Through an open door.
I am going home,
I'm just going
Going home, going home, going home, going home!
