The following from THE DAILY TELEGRAPH, 16 Mar 1987, Adrian, MI.:
ADRIAN- Lewis D. Baugh, 89, of Michigan Avenue, Adrian, died March 14, 1987, at his home.
He was born December 14, 1897, in Missouri to Frank and Panthea (King) Baugh. On May 22, 1919, he married Ellis Richeson in Springfield, Missouri, and she died in 1984.
Mr. Baugh graduated from Jasper High School in 1916 and from Brown's Business Academy. He and his wife moved to Jasper in 1919 and engaged in farming. They also farmed the Clayton area for many years, retiring in 1955 and moving to Adrian. Mr. Baugh had also been employed at the Hurd Lock Company for 20 years, retiring in 1965, after which he was a route driver for The Daily Telegram for 10 years. He attended the Demings Lake Memorial Church.
