She was married to Paul Albert in 1940 and moved to Evansville, Indiana. After the war, they moved to Indianapolis where they raised their 3 sons.
Leta is survived by Paul, her loving husband of 69 years, their three sons: Kenneth (Eileen) Albert of Thousand Oaks, CA, Michael (Carol) Albert of Zionsville, IN, and Thomas Albert of Speedway, IN. She has 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister: Mildred (Bailey) Armstrong of Greenwood, Indiana.
Leta was first and always a loving wife and mother who never lost her love for her early farming background of homemaking, cooking, raising a garden, and tending her flowers. In mid career, she also added working in the IPS food service area at School 90. Leta was a dedicated Christian, and very active in Exeter Avenue Baptist Church, and later transferred to Wesley United Methodist Church. Leta will be dearly missed.
