Barbara Jean Ray Adamson, age 72, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at a Fort Worth hospital. She was born April 20, 1937, in Corsicana to Floyd David and Mary Hazel Carr Ray. She was a longtime member of Northside Baptist Church in Corsicana. She was a hospice volunteer and enjoyed being a full-time mom and homemaker.
Mrs. Adamson was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Gregg Adamson; her parents; and a brother, Charles David Ray.
She is survived by a son, Greg Adamson; a daughter, Cindy Griffin; a brother, Glenn Ray; and three grandchildren, Phill Adamson, Maisy Griffin and Keira Griffin.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Corley Funeral Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3, at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Teel officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana.
