Evelyn Covert went home to be with her Heavenly and Earthly father. Heaven's gain is our loss. Evelyn's ministry to the children,at home as well as a member of the Board of Christian Education, Sunday School teacher and director of the pre-school church at Whittier Church of God.
Her compassion was the special gift given to her by the Lord. She fulfilled her ministry to the limit.
Evelyn was a life long resident of Baldwin Park.She is survived by her husband, Edwin; sons; David, Bruce & Don Covert; Daughters, Connie Watts, Judy Covert, Pauline Wolfe; Sisters Lois Peters, Veta Reid, Vera Schroeder; Brother Lester Eaton; 2 grandchildren.
