Husband's Grandma.

Married 1) Harold Adelbert Howe Apr 1, 1918 (Divorced). Four children:

Married 2) Samuel Walter Snyder Jul 30, 1936. No children.

I only met this Grandma a couple of times, but I talked with her on the phone on a regular basis. She was full of information about the family history and loved to tell stories of her great-granddaddy's traveling as a ships stow-a-way because he had been sold into child slavery and somehow escaped. He landed in New York and his adventures would take him from one shore to another then back again, finally settling down in New York to rear a family of only one child.

As a family, we always planned to get that Five Generation family picture, but just never got around to it. What a shame.

Grandma outlived both of her husbands and two of her children and had celebrated her 101st birthday just a month before her death. She was spry and full of life and is missed by all of us!
