Tracy C. Loomis was the son of Horace Bronson Loomis and Jennie Tracy Loomis. He was born and raised in Stockton, California and served in the Spanish American War. He married first Ida May Gilbert about 1900 and his first child was born - Zillah Gilbert Loomis. He worked as a merchant seaman - marine engineer for his occupation. He lived out his fianl years in the Veterans Home at Yountville, Napa Co., California. He is buried on the hill behind the home where his father in law is also buried (Horace B. Gilbert).
