Alice Bowles Curtis, age 90, passed away March 28, 2010. Alice was born Jan. 14, 1920 to Samuel Clifford and Sarah Elizabeth Stotter Campbell Bowles in Milo, Idaho.

Alice was greatly loved by her children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She served in many different capacities in the LDS Church. With her companion of 72 years, they served a mission in England and one in Western Samoa. Her hands were always busy crocheting; tying quilts (with the help of her dear husband); canning fruit and tending her roses.

She is survived by her husband Oral Curtis, 2 sons and 2 daughters, Fred (Laura) Curtis, Zane (Mary) Curtis, Lona (Kaye) Fox, and Kaye Curtis, adopted daughter, Sian Morgan Allred; 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; 4 sisters and 1 brother, Arzella (Thayne) Wheeler, Phyllis Moss, Mildred (Boyd McKay) Madsen, Myrna (Artell) Armstrong and Alden (LaDean) Bowles. She was preceded in death by a son Steven C. Curtis, her parents, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the Lehi 7th Ward LDS Chapel, 1049 N. 300 W. where family and friends may call for visitation from 10:30 a.m. until time of services.
