Daughter of Leo and Mabel Smith. She was a graduate of Bethel Nursing school in 1950, and also a graduate of Grace Bible Institute in 1954. She married Bruce Griffin in May of 1954. Bruce and Alma were missionaries for 15 years in Nigeria. She also worked as a nurse at Whitehall Home for Teens (1973-1983) and from there went on to a ministry at Back to the Bible for 10 years.
Survived by her husband Bruce Guy Griffin, children, spouses: Jim and Jeanette Titus, Lincoln, Paul and Ruth Harder, O'Neill, David and Laurie Griffin, Toccoa, GA, Scott and JoAnn Wilson, Lincoln and Dan and Carol Fiddler, Colorado Springs, CO; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, brother Marvin.
