Child of John "Jay" Altmeyer and Ruth Covey Altmeyer. Siblings: John Lee, Frieda and Laurie. Bob and his sister, Laurie, were in a friend's car coming home from school. The car they were in, was hit by a train. All five of the teenagers in the car were killed instantly.
Bob and Laurie were great kids and will always be missed.
