The remains of Mrs. Sue Adams arrived here Saturday morning on the 8 o'clock train from Athens, Alabama where she died Thursday Feb. 18th after lingering two weeks with a stroke of paralysis, which she suffered Feb. 4. With her at the time of her death were her only son, Wilson Adams and her only daughter, Mrs. Arthur Greenhill, of Decatur, Alabama, who had been with her since she was stricken. Her sister, Nannie, wife of H.C. Moore of Princeton was summoned by telegraph and although she started at once, did not reach her sisters side in time to see her alive.
The funeral party consisted of the aged parents of the deceased, Mr. and Mrs. S. Hodge, the younger brother, S.D. Hodge and his daughter, Miss Katherine of Princeton and two sisters, Mesdames J.W. Jackson of Otter Pond and H.C. Moore of Princeton, each of whom was accompanied by their husband, the son Wilson Adams of Athens, Alabama, and the daughter Ethel, wife of Aurthur Greenville, of Decatur, Alabama and Henry C. Goodwin of Princeton.
