Quackenbush, Fultonville Rites Slated

FULTONVILLE — Mrs. Jane Eliza Quackenbush, 80, widow of Sedgwlck Quackenbush, Auriesville road, died Sunday afternoon at Amsterdam City Hospital, where she had been a patient for one day.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Todd funeral home, Fultonvllle, with the Rev. A. M, Eads, pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, FultonviUe, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Carlo Lazzaro, former pastor or the Fultonville Reformed Church. Interment will be
in the Maple Avenue Cemetery, Fultonville, Mrs. Quackenbush had lived in this vicinity all her life and was a charter member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church. She was born in Albany Bush on July 14, 1878, the daughter of the late Winfield Scott and Emma Jane Copp Fonda. She was wed twice, on February 14, 1900, she married Jacob Smith, who died in 1906. On January 20, 1911, she married Sedgwick Quackenbush, who died in 1954.
Survivors are two sons, Harry Smith, Pomona, Calif., and Sedgwlck Quackenbush, Gloversville, two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Foody, and Mrs. Adam Haberek, Fultonville, four brothers, Nathan Fonda, Tarzana, Calif., Edward and Fred Fonda, of Fonda, and John Fonda or Gloversvllle: two sisters, Miss Viola Fonda, Fultonville, and Mrs. Ida Gifford, of Fonda; 15 grandchildren, four
great-grandchlidren.
