Son of Asa and Hannah (Fuller) Bartlett.
"D. 1881, aged 82; m. Mary Lowell; d. 1843. 2d, Maria Pratt, d. 1920. He was a blacksmith and his shop stood at Sanders, or as it in later years was called, Bartlett's Corner, and his house that was originally a primitive store, stood just north of the shop and at the corner of the cross roads. he was a man of quaint and curious character, ingenious and thorough at his trade.
