Mrs. Leona Myrtle Dunn, 69, of 902 San Jacinto, Crockett, passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, in The Houston County Hospital.
Mrs. Dunn, a retired school teacher, was born May 26, 1903, in Houston County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Crockett.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Callaway Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Richard Hume of the Lovelady Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers wre R. B. Hall Jr., C. R. Attaway Jr., David Attaway, Bruce Attaway, G. H. Foster and L.T. Morgan.
Survivors include a son, James A. Dunn of Waco; three brothers, A. B. Hall of Porter, W. L. Hall of Houston and R. B. Hall of Pasadena; a sister, Mrs.Effie Sellers of Houston; a grandson, James A. Dunn Jr. of Beaumont; agranddaughter, Vivkie Dunn of Beaumont.
Callaway Funeral Home of Crockett was in charge of arrangements.
