Thank you for posting William Douglas' burial at Find-a-grave. His wife's name was Anne Motley and she was b 1601 not 1610 (bp Denford, Northants, 1601). Her fa was Thomas Motley/Matlatt (his will spells his name 3 different ways but Motley is the first and his children are all registered at Motley/Motleye). William's parents are not known but current research points to him being born locally (Northamptonshire) to William and Anne Jenniwai Douglass in Easton Maudit, Northants, not to Robert and Jean Ross in Scotland. I'll say that the man b to Robert and Jean is not William of New London, but the William of Easton Maudit is not yet proven to be m to Anne Motley (of Ringstead). William and Anne had 6 children and I can provide information on them if you wish. My own line descends from Robert Douglas b 1639 in Middlesex co, England bp St Mary's Whitechapel, London.
