A GREAT MAN
From dirt roads to paved highways
there's lived a great man.
He could tell you a many stories
of this great land.
He and his wife raised a large
family, this family not only
grew larger, but who's hearts
and love grew stronger and
closer everyday.
He loved driving his pickup
truck, willing and dealing, and
trying his luck. He was a strong
good man that had a will that
would never give up.
He loved the western things like
cowboy hats and a horseshoe game.
He could tell you all about the
horses what they could do and
their names.
You could see him at a rodeo or
a good old poker game. He
was a great man and Evert
Dentis was his name.
