Mr. Farringer was born Monday, Oct. 27, 1947, in Sharon, the oldest son of Curtis M. and Margaret "Betty" Elizabeth Sisk Farringer. A graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage, class of 1965, served in the Army as a SP4.
He worked as a welder and millwright at Industrial Air Control, Masury, for 25 years. He previously worked at I.T.T. Grinnell and at Wean United, both in Warren, Ohio.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was an Army Reservist for six years with the 858th Quartermaster Division in Farrell. His sense of humor and great spirit will be missed by all.
Formerly married to Nancy Rakoci, Nancy and Don Rakoci aided his support.
Surviving are: a daughter, Rachel E. Farringer, Mill Valley, Calif.; a son, Vincent E. Farringer, Hermitage; his father, Curtis M. Farringer, Hermitage; a sister, Joanne Farringer, Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Dennis Farringer, Hermitage; and Craig Farringer, Frackville, Pa.; an aunt, Grunja Farringer, Columbus, Ohio; an uncle, Norwin Cargo, Hermitage; and several cousins.
His mother preceded him in death.
