She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Aaron Deitz; son, Dr. Robert Deitz, and a grandson, Geoffrey Deitz.
Survivors include Daughter, Beverly Deitz Rosenblatt and herhusband, Lee; grandchildren, Amy Seely, Margery MacKeith, Joyce Neave, Lisa Esposito-Faraone, Lori Fishman, & Jason Deitz; 12 great-grandchildren.

Interment followed funeral services conducted at the Adas Israel Congregation, Washington, D.C., Wednesday, December 31, 2008.
