Annetta Sue Hicks, 39, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 19, 2010.
Annetta was born September 28, 1970 in Madison; and was the beloved daughter of Teresa Tackett of Lake and the late Curtis James Guess. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Tennie Guess of Lake.
She was a member of Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church and was employed at LensCrafters in Charleston. Annetta was a very special daughter and even though she is no longer with us, her loving and caring memories will be in our hearts always.

Annetta is survived by her children, Charles Allen Hicks, Tyler Joe Hicks, and Step-daughter Sarah Moore and her husband, Chris; and her two granddaughters, Chloe Collins and Taylor Moore.

Annetta is also survived by her mother, Teresa Tackett; step-father, Danny R. Tackett of Lake; maternal grandparents, Charles and Mona Rollins of Lake; sister, Tara Lynn Morgan of Randleman, North Carolina; brothers, Curtis James "Rawhide" Guess Jr., Paul Aaron Guess, and Danny Ray Tackett, all of Lake.

She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, along with many close friends and her church families.

Her family and friends will gather for the visitation, Thursday, March 25, from 11:00 a.m. until the joint funeral services at 1:00 p.m., Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church, Campbells Creek, with the Rev. Mike Long officiating. The burial will follow the service in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow
