PERRY - Loyd Arthur, 64, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11A.M. in the Perry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to American Heart Association , 5962 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31210 or to the National Kidney Foundation , 30 East 33rd Street, New York, N.Y. 10016. -Mr. Arthur was a native of Sumter County and was a retired shipping clerk for Lowell Packing Company in Fitzgerald, GA. He was a member of the Methodist Church and loved to play golf and go fishing. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was the son of the late James Arthur and Althea Lowery Arthur. -Left to cherish their memories of Mr. Arthur are his loving wife of 41 years, Regina Arthur of Perry; his son, Jason Arthur of Perry; and a brother and his wife J. Thomas Arthur (Sue Anne) of Frisco, Texas.
